Attended a training day here, food nice staff very helpful and polite.
Xmas day lunch with family. A lovely afternoon. A very mixed age range, and a visit from Santa. Food ok however the main course was only lukewarm .needed to be hotter. The atmosphere was a little lacking. Some festive music playing would have solved this hence only 3 stars .
Excellent staff. Had a problem with the heater in my room and they upgraded me when theybdidnt have another double available. Taxi in morning got cancelled for an interview and they sorted another out very quickly. Excellent service from Ashley on reception :) rooms were nice and shower is good. For this price in this area I think its an excellent option.
Rooms could do with being modernised but on the whole clean and tidy. Evening meal and breakfast were lovely with plenty of choice. In the main hotel bar the choice of cocktail was very limited which was a bit disappointing but did not spoil our stay.
Clean, tidy rooms friendly staff.Food is OK , maybe the kitchen is a work in process I'm not sure. Don't get me wrong it wasn't terrible I guess my expectations of the food was higher than I got.The hotel ambiance says touch of class, elegance...menu says diner.I would stay again but not dine.
